Why a technologic project where water is missing?

The revolution of information represents an opportunity to CHANGE for the world: the World Summit on Information Society (WSIS) recognized that ICT (information and communication technology) can have a key role for the construction of a fair information society and to reach the eight objectives of the Millenium:

• Uprooting of extreme poverty and starvation;
• Universal primary education;
• Equality in all the mankind and increase of woman value;
• Reduction of infant mortality;
• Improvement of maternal health;
• Struggle for diseases-calamities as HIV/AIDS and malaria;
• Environmental sustainability;
• Pursuit of partnership at global level for the development.
